To be more productive, you need to:
- Plan your day & use Time-Boxing – it makes it clear what you need to do – avoiding the “I should be doing something else” feeling, but don’t overplan and overthink – and rest assured, there will be distractions
- Take breaks – think Pomodoro
- Move – don’t sit for too long – stretch, do some Yoga / Pilates
- Avoid distractions but listen to music without words
- Put your phone out of reach / switch off notifications (phone, computer)
- Declutter
- your desk
- your computer screen
- your filing structure
- Have a clear end-of-day – especially if you work from home
